Best I've cream on Cape Cod! Definitely best bang for your buck!

Their fried food is great and their small icecream cups are huge but very good,typical off the side of the road fried seafood stop

We tried clam chowder and fried fish dinners. The food was good and two dinners with two large chowders were enough for family of five (kids age 5 to 10).

Simple and down home seafood cooking on the Cape. The food is great and they provide generous portions on their lobster rolls. And you can grab a scoop of ice cream right after.

Tastes like Liam's clams and rings. Missing the sand in the batter, but otherwise, pretty close.

This is the sister store to what was Liams at Nauset. It was delicious and we had a great chat with Liam who was working the counter. Great food and don’t forget to order the onion rings and coffee blast!

Visiting from Minnesota, we were on a mission to find a lighthouse when we took a wrong turn. Since we were both getting hungry, we decided to find a place for a quick bite and just happened upon Kate's Seafood. What a great find! Staff was friendly, food came out quickly, but not so fast to tell us it would have been precooked. Everything was fresh and hot. I had the captains fish sandwich which was amazing and even had bacon on it! Fries were hot and cooked to crispy perfection, while still soft in the center. My husband had the chicken fingers and sweet potato fries. His food was hot and delicious as well. I would definitely recommend it to anyone! So go ahead and make that wrong turn and stop at Kate's!

What a great place i stumbled upon so glad i found it. I was starving and it was 830ish and everywhere was closed or closing. I ordered the clam strip dinner and it did not disappoint. I couldn't finish it all and boy was i hungry. Clean socially distant and safe. Brava Kate and crew!

I ordered Captain's Club special that came with sweet potato fries but got Cape Club (Rueben) with curly fries. Tasted OK but not what I ordered. My wife ordered Special #5 (Clam Fritters, Chowder, etc). Fritters were waaay overcooked and clam chowder was just OK. Also, tables very dirty. Didn't appear that they were wiped down all day (we arrived at 5pm).

Went to Kate's after giving up on another local favorite that had poor Covid set-up and we were so happy we did. Whole belly clam roll was fresh, hot and delicious. The salmon burger was simple but perfectly done: good flavor, light grill char, on a fresh bun w/sliced tomato and lettuce. Get the sweet potato fries. Kate's does them right. They have the crispy outside that is so often lacking on SPFs. The raspberry lime rickey was light and refreshing, not too sweet.For a small walk-up Kate's takes Covid seriously and has very clear signage and floor markings to keep customers in good, safe order. Place has excellent fried seafood. It's all fresh. Clam chowder is excellent. The service is relatively fast. Also, the ice cream was tasty and you get big scoops.

It has a lot of charm. The food is also amazing. I had a soup with bits of lobster in it which was above and beyond. There were also clam pieces with crust around it which are really good.

Best lobster and crab roll joint. Onion rings are thin and crispy which is awesome! Definitely will go back to try more.

My husband and I have been coming to Kate's for many years. Usually two times a week.We were used to ordering the fish and chips which came with 3 pieces of fish and great French fries. Being seniors, we share our meals.Tonight was our first visit of the season. We ordered fish and chips as usual and there was only ONE piece of fish with cold limp French fries. The price was $5.00 more than last year with a bottle of water for $3.50!Sadly, we won't be going back. Very disappointed.

Good food. Very expensive lobster rolls ($21.50), but they are at most places. Close to the beach, and overall nice location. Ice cream selection is great (and delicious)! Would highly recommend the fried clam roll.

Staff was friendly, food is very good and reasonably priced, the onion rings are spectacular and so was the fish. In general they have amazing breading for their fried food which was a nice surprise. Will definitely return!

Don't know about their food. Lots of different and delicious ice cream flavors! No soft-serve. Orange freeze is rough compared to others I've had in the area.

We miss you at Nauset...we come from Toronto every year. Went for a drive and enjoyed some orings. Food trucks have nothing on you!

Great for a quick fried seafood platter. You can call in your order and pick up or sit on one of their socially distanced picnic tables. They even have a picnic area across the street where you could feasibly bring your own chairs or picnic blanket. Great stop to get fried fish & ice cream without having to enter a building (important during the time of COVID)!

Happened across this place on our way back home. Stopped for some really good ice cream.

S L O O O O W. Would have been nice if they warned us about a ONE HOUR wait for a single fried seafood dinner plate. Food is adequate. Seems they are prioritizing phone orders so YMMV on calling it in

Glad we stopped. Was taking back roads and happened upon Kate's. Great road side seafood. The fritters are incredible.

Amazing food!

I have known this place since it opened MANY years ago. The ice cream is still wonderful but SKIP THE FOOD. I couldn't find one shred of clam in the bland, tasteless clam chowder(I dumped it out it was so bad) and the largest French fry in the carton was a whopping 2 inches long and undercooked. To say this way the grossest meal I have witnessed in years would be an understatement. Maybe the seagulls will be desperate enough to eat it. Go to Sir Crickets in Orleans if you'd like some ftesh, well prepared take out seafood. Or ANYWHERE besides Kate's.

Cant get more quintessential Cape Cod than Kate's. Cute neighborhood spot perfect for a quick bite on outdoor patio seating. Lobster roll is a SOLID choice with it's hefty lobster helping and lack of heavy mayo!
